EPA Breakfast Club
Please join us for our next club meeting!
 
All meetings are held in Ariel Rios North, Room 1332A at 7:30am. (Everyone is welcome. You do not have to be an EPA employee to join!) (get directions here).
 
Next dates are: 

February 3-    Executive Committee Meeting
February 10- 
Regular Club Meeting
February 17-  Club International Speech and Evaluation Contests
February 24-  Regular Club Meeting

 
Reminder - In November and December there are only two regular meetings due to the holidays.  Please keep this in mind as you plan your speeches and work toward your goals!
 
Meeting Cancellation Policy.  In the event the EPA Headquarters buildings are closed due to inclement weather or other reasons, or should the federal government in Washington, DC, adopt a liberal leave policy for the day of a scheduled meeting, there will be no EPA Breakfast Toastmasters meeting.  All cancellations will be posted here.
 
 


Welcome to the EPA Breakfast Club!

Toastmasters International is a non-profit organization which gives its members the opportunity to develop and improve their public speaking abilities through local club meetings, training seminars and speech contests. Toastmasters International includes more than 235,000 men and women in more than 11,700 clubs in more than 92 countries. The EPA Breakfast Toastmasters club is made up of members from around the US Environmental Protection Agency and are dedicated towards helping one another develop outstanding public speaking skills.

Why Join?

No matter what you’re position, the EPA Breakfast Toastmasters Club is an efficient and enjoyable way of gaining great communication skills. By regularly presenting a speech in front of like-minded colleagues, you’ll be amazed at how your skills will develop and how much fun public speaking can be!


What’s it Like?

Utilizing a variety of activities, Toastmasters is built around a self-paced program that allows its members to develop within a mutually supportive environment. Each time you present a speech, your colleagues will provide you with constructive feedback – feedback that will make you a better speaker!
